That's called as Neckline interfacing will will hold the neckline in shape...Depth of the neckline should not go beyond 3 inches as this is collar neckline..Email me if you have more questions..

If you are making collar neck then take neck length to be 3" ,shoulder 5" and the neck depth 3"
