Yes but you need to wait until the upper part is completely dried up and then cut it of
@Mr.FunnyBones Жыл бұрын
Yes, you don't even need to take them out, just let them in the pot.
@Arend-q8p16 сағат бұрын
If they bloom in water, they can be reused ONLY if you give them fertilizer and sun (grow them hydroponically). This is necessary for them to produce and store food (sugars and starches) in the bulb by photosynthesis. If you don't feed them and give them sun, the bulb will shrivel up and then rot, killing the plant. Either way, the bulb must be kept dry after the top does down before you try to grow it for next year. It is VERY unlikely to bloom the following year no matter what you do, but may bloom 2 years later if fertilized and given sun. Tulips are originally from Turkey and Western Asia. When in leaf, the plants are exposed to much higher levels of sunlight than they would get in a house, unless you are growing then under LED or High Intensity lights. Without such high levels of light, they cannot produce enough food to bloom or even survive another year. Also, Tulips NEVER grow in water in nature! They really cannot complete their life cycle in water, and usually rot. Commercial Tulip growers raise them in fields fully exposed to the sun! After the plants fie down to the soil, the bulbs are dug up by machinery and graded by size. Only the largest bulbs will produce full sized flowers, and after they do, they divide into several small bulbs that are too small to bloom. These are replanted by Tulip growers and grown on for two more years to full size. Tulip bulbs that are to small to produce top sized flowers will often still bloom. Tulip farmers remove their buds with machinery and feed these to dairy Cows. Growing Tulip bulbs is much more complex than you might believe, because the countries that produce them commercially have rainy summers, while Tulips come from countries with dry summers and more sun in the spring that the Netherlands and other Tulip bulb producing countries.
