While at Ravenshoe we explore the Tully Gorge National Park. We follow the Tully River & see waterfalls & visit the Majestic Koombooloomba Dam All just within a days drive of town....

Hi Paul & Michelle Another masterpiece! Beautiful part of Australia. Michelle is a hidden talent. The back up, not so much. 😃 Heading to NT next week. Will keep an eye out for you guys in case our paths cross either on our way north or when returning via Port August in late August. Enjoy the warm weather. It’s been bloody freezing down south. Cheers Peter & Annette

The two large rock cliffs across from the Tully Falls lookout form a heart and my mum used to call it the heart of Nth Queensland. Just west of Tully Falls and Koombooloomba is going to be cleared to put in the wooroora Windfarm. Locals are fighting to have it stopped.

Thanks for the extra info. It's great to hear local knowledge like that. Sad news about the clearing of the land for a wind farm. That area is Beautiful & should be preserved Thanks for your comments Paul
