@Astronouth7303 yeah, its much more correct this way :) its typical for sign languages not to separate "turn" and "slowly", but integrate the "slowly" into the picture and just show what it looks like. oh, i love this. i'm a student for sign language interpretin and its just THE best thing i can imagine. stephen, LOVED this. :)

@strega42 of course! i mean, i'd think that was awesome! it really isn't my call, though. i'd ask a Deaf/HoH person who was very active in the Deaf Community. it's THEIR language and there has been a lot of arguments recently involving hearing people signing songs in ASL. (even with me, and i'm EXTREMELY involved in the Deaf Community). so, i'd ask the opinion of someone high up in the Deaf Community first.

@AprilOO8 yes it does. and i'm sorry for jumping on you, it's just that i know a lot of people who are afraid that hearing people are trying to "take over" ASL and that creates a lot of tension between the hearing and Deaf worlds, and i just really hate to see that happen.

@allyballybabe I apologize for offending you. I did not mean to. I understand That ASL is extremely important to the Deaf community. This was just a simple suggestion to allow those who are not deaf and that do not know sign language to gain interest and increase the support. I am HIGHLY involved in the Deaf community and we actually encourage others to become apart of our activities and get to know the Deaf community. Hope this answers your accusation.

@AprilOO8 that is really not the correct way to do things like this. ASL is extremely important to the Deaf community and unless you are HIGHLY involved in the Deaf community and are working FOR them, then it is looked down upon to capitalize on something that is so important to them.

I'm part of the hearing impaired and deaf community and I think this guy needs to get over himself. He thinks he's helping the community, but he's just milking the celebrity experience.
