Tulster Contour - Overview

I added this review on Amazon. They responded with it can't be posted because it does not meet their guidelines. This is the best holster I've ever purchased. I own a great many holsters, probably because im always disappointed and hoping to find a better fitting one. Every one of them I think "meh, it will get the job done." I've never been very impressed. ...UNTIL NOW! THIS HOLSTER IS AMAZING!!! To confirm, I am reviewing the Tulster Contour OWB for Sig 365. Here is what I like: 1. From the front to the back it is contoured to fit the body. 2. The majority of the firearm rides above the belt line providing greater consealability when wearing T-shirts. 3. It allows the firearm to ride beside my "love handles" instead of digging into them. 4. Sitting in a vehicle is always the greatest discomfort with a right side holster.. No more. It rides above the seat belt buckle and hugs my side, not digging into it. 5. The kydex is thinner than others I own, but still has a sturdy high quality feel. I like how thin it is. It reduces bulk and weight. 6. The edges are smoothed 7. The retention is crisp and adjustable. 8. The cant is perfect and adjustable. 9. I can adjust the ride height of the firearm even higher if I choose. I assume this would be ideal for any man with a little extra weight. 10. For an owb holster it rides tighter to my body than any other owb I own, making my side arm more concealable and reducing shirt imprint. 11. The edge of the holster rides immediately next to the mag release. That provides a certain amount of extra protection against accidental mag release. I've had mag release issues with other holsters. That one thing can literally get you killed in an emergency situation. It's a critical issue in my mind. 12. The trigger guard is fully covered so nothing can accidentally get to the trigger. This is huge. It will allow you to carry chambered with confidence. 13. This holster addresses the shortfalls of so many other brands all in one package. There's a lot more I'm sure. As you can see I've carried for some time and have experienced a lot of inconvenient issues with holsters. Two things I know with 100% certainty; 1. I will be buying more of these holsters for other firearms. 2. I will be throwing some old holsters in the trash.

Have you tried the Bravo Concealment OWB? I’ve heard it conceals better by sitting higher and tighter to the body. But the quality may not be as good. Curious if you’ve tried that one to compare it?

@AscndedAssassin I haven't tried Bravo. I have used 20 plus different holsters, though. You can set the Tulster so high the side arm will want to tip outward unless you have a very sturdy belt. This Tulster has the highest adjustment setting of any holster I've ever used. It can be set pretty low also. But, not the lowest I've used. Still using my Tulster every single day, seven days a week.

@@cbrookb ya I kind of like that it rides high so it won’t hang too low and be exposed but I did see another reviewer said it could tilt out if too high. I actually just ordered one about 2 hours ago. I heard the bravo concealment one does stay closer to you body but it’s not Kydex, it’s polymer injection molded. Only $40 also. I saw some people had issues with them being too tight even on the lowest retention setting. Plus tulster had a 30% BF deal going on so figured I’d just pick one up. It looks a lot cooler too lol

This is the best owb for conceal carry. I know, bought one. It's as perfect as it gets today. I wanted a high ride with adjustments. You'll need practice drawing seated and standing. You won't loose your firearm even riding a bonc. Not tested that boast yet. Point is retention is there and slightly adjustable. I have blackpoint, safariland, and now tulster. X macro is just fine in my tulster.

Well, just tried to order a Contour holster on your website since you don’t offer the left handed versions on Amazon. I was presented with “shipping and billing address must match” due to increased fraud. That completely screws me over living in one state temporarily with a permanent residence in another state. I’ve never encountered this BS with any other retailer (Amazon, Best Buy, Brownells, Midway, Bass Pro, Cabela’s, and on and on). I guess this is God’s way of telling me not to buy your holster. Y’all have a Super day.
