I worship her. One of the only writers in Pakistan who has written everything so beautiful and thought-provoking. People like her are not created nor born, they are from another dimension, another world. I wanted her to speak endlessly and there were certain things which she said and my tears started to come out. She was a sad, sad person, a person with too much burden. A burden of things she can't explain and you can see it in her eyes and her body language. Still, she managed to become a world renowned writer, which was totally her own kingdom. Nobody can ever become like her. There was just one and only, Bano Qudsia and always will be. Thank you so much for sharing this interview, I was waiting for just this one from the start. ❤️

I feel sad for young readers these days who think umerah ahmed and nimrah ahmed are the epitome of Urdu writing. I've read them too and they are very average writers in comparison to these legends. Young people ,both men and women , should read books by the likes of bano qudsia , ashfaq ahmed and qudrat ullah shahab
