(1) Revised estimate including TRD estimate prepared with an amount of Rs. 2142.34 Cr and submitted to Railway board on 17.04.2023.
(ii) LOA for a value of Rs. 258.125 Cr has been issued on 21.09.2022 for EPC tender in the section Tholahumse Bhramasagara (20.36 Km)
(iii) IDD/GoK deposited with Railways Rs. 10.06 Cr towards NPV & CA charges for Chitradurga, Tumkur & Davangere district forest land.
(iv)For the section, Urukere - Thimmarajanahalli (13.5 Km) upto track linking is targeted for completion in this financial year and work is in progress.
(v) For the remaining sections, EPC tenders will be called after acquiring 90% of land by Government of Karnataka.

Definitely after completion of this new railway line reduce time between Bangalore and hubballi frequently I do travel from hubballi Bangalore. but due to so many north Indian long trains our local daily trains has give first priority to them because of this lot of time will be wasted. so this new train route will boost, improve railway connectivity👍it should be completed as soon as possible🙁

During first fifty years after Independence, lot of railway lines were laid largely in undivided UP and in the state of Railway Minister ( Exception Karnataka) from direct budgetary support from GOI. But when demand for more rail lines started coming from other states like Karnataka. Then IR played trick of asking 50% contributions from state. Karnataka lost as providing funds by state was and is difficult. IR coolly delaying implementation of projects in Karnataka, which lost during first fifty years in railway projects.

Absolutely correct Government has to give priority to each state, including Karnataka. Compare to North India. Still, we are in South India Lot of work has to do on railway department. Doddasiddavanahalli is on the north of Chitradurga. While the train comes from Tumkur, why the train first comes to Doddasiddavanahalli and then backwards to Chitradurga? From Tumkur, the train may come first to Haliyuru, then Chitradurga, then Doddasiddavanahalli and then to Sirigere and Davangere.
