Thank you for showing us some magnificent country to ride through. I pulled down a copy of your GPX files in order to plan some bikepacking. I'm particularly interested in the route you took from Yass through Graben Gullen to Goulburn. I'm hoping there is enough access to water and re-supplies along the way for me to undertake a multi-day cycling trip. Love your editing and your commentary. Keep the rubber side down.

Thanks. We enjoyed that ride. Actually, after leaving Yass, there are no shops (or anything) til you reach the Grabben Gullen Pub.

I great ride as I've come to expect. I now have a good 2 day ride from Sydney to Tumut and return on a few roads that I haven't done before. Many thanks for the effort you put into making these videos. Cheers.

Many thanks for this. I'm from Canberra and looking to explore the local region - videos such as these are giving me great options for doing so. Cheers.

Looks great, thanks for the GPX file very useful. I’ll give it a go on the way back from the Snowy Mountains in November.

Lovely vid and thanks for the excellent production. Haven't ridden this but drove south via Wee Jasper a few years ago with the family and my oldies in our 4WDs, on our way down to the Vic High Country. It's beautiful countryside and has excellent roads, as you note. I'm currently riding a Ninja 1000 but don't mind knocking up a few kays on half decent dirt roads. When it gets a bit warmer I might have to look more closely at a ride like this! Cheers from Sydney - Dave

Thanks Dave. We have done Wee Jasper a few times and thought it was in it's best condition on this ride. It looks to be getting a lot of maintenance lately so giving the Ninja a run mightn't be out of the question. 😀

@@rideday01 Sounds great. I grew up on dirt bikes as a youngster around the Mid North Coast (Mt Bago area) and have been known to take road bikes, including my Blackbird some years ago, on very rough (and sometimes) muddy roads. Not very smart, but sometimes you find yourself with little choice! Love your videos mate and look forward to indulging in more of them. Cheers, Dave

Thanks for the video. I have ridden from Canberra to Tumut via Wee Jasper on my 2007 Kawasaki KLR650. There is no fuel in Wee Jasper. After rain, the corners on dirt roads can be wet and muddy.

Thanks. Yes, you are right x 2 and slippery.

The roads are purely so well maintained for the Logging trucks……..plantation pine is big industry in all that area

Yes, you're right. The sealed roads are in immaculate condition and the gravel roads seem to be always maintained. We think it looked like they are cutting in new gravel roads off Wee Jasper into the forests.

You certainly see a lot more when not restricted to bitumen. We are glad we made the move 👍.
