Such a special family time 💕 My Mum used to make sun tea in a huge pitcher that would steep on the steps to our screen porch for hours and then she would add fresh mint from the garden and some lemon, wonderful memories. Have you ever tried adding cottage cheese to tuna Carol? It’s actually pretty good especially as a salad vs. sandwich with some lettuce & avocado. Enjoyed watching you build your tuna melts while - coincidentally - I was eating my version. Another option is to add everything you mentioned you like but replace the tuna with chick peas (mashed but still a bit chunky) on your sour dough bread. I started making my own sour dough this year which becomes a hobby. Happy to share my recipe if/when you get into it. This chickpea melt is my new favourite! Janice from Calgary

Sadly in Canada our tuna melts are Tillamook-less. Adding a can of flavoured fizzy water to sun tea to dilute is also tasty. 🥾⛰️🇨🇦❤️
