What did you catch him off? Lures or bait?

Peter it was a very old metal slice made by a company called Luhr Jensen. I got it when i was a kid and would be about 35 years old and this was the first and only fish it has ever caught. Was just hurling it out and winding it back fast. Just happened to have a bait school boil up right were i was casting.
