The new tunatubes produced by Walter Ferraro.
After two years of testing, the Tuna Tubes created by Walter Ferraro is finally available.
The Tuna Tubes, is used to keep alive the fish without a breathing pump and that in the livewell die after a few minutes such as Tombarelli, Alletterati, Palamite and all Tunnids in general. It also works perfectly with Lanzards and Mackerel.
This product is equipped with a quick coupling to connect the classic hoses in seconds.
It has been designed to be placed on the bracket of the boat or inside the cockpit and can be removed without problems and in a few seconds thanks to the special handles and strap supplied.
The lifespan of the fish depends on several factors. First of all, the fish caught by trolling last longer than those caught by spinning, as the fish fatigue much less. Then the fish with more conspicuous wounds and those badly treated last less than those just stung and treated with care.
Walter Ferraro has successfully tested this product, keeping the tombarelli alive for more than 8 hours.
The Tuna Tubes self-drains excess water.
The product is equipped with a splash guard that prevents splashes from fish.
The loading system can be designed in different ways, for occasional use the pump for deck washing can be used. Tests were carried out using a dedicated pump with a seacock under the boat and not aft, using a 6 GPM (6 gallons per minute equal to 22 liters per minute) JABSCO 82605-0092 pump with a pressure of up to 70 psi (4.8 bar).
The internal part is made up of a special 125 mm tube produced in black paste to calm the fish inside and the external coating.

Ciao Walter! sono un suo iscritto al canale yuo tube, potrebbe dirmi gentilmente se la pompa jabsco indicata nel video dei tuna tubes va bene anche come pompa per vasca vivo ? ovviamente da alimentare non contemporaneamente. e se va bene per la vasca del vivo? se si è indispensabile fare la vasca con tubo interno micro forato per dare maggiore pressione o va bene solo un tubo di mandata senza micro fori.grazie anticipatamente

Puó andar bene anche se non sono pompe adatte a fare un’infinità di ore come altre concepite proprio per la vadca del vivo come la serie tournament della rule

@@barracudabarracuda731 no, io ti consiglio di metterne due. Se proprio non hai altre soluzioni mettina una. Usandone una non potrai usare contemporaneamente tunatubes e vivo ma devi scegliere cosa usare, altrimenti ai tunatubes arriva poca acqua e pressione

@@WalterFerraro ciao Walter ! Le volevo chiedere, nn avendo molto spazio sulla mia barca, una vasca vivo con igloo da 45/50 lt va bene per mantenere vivo più o meno quanti calamari , ovviamente in base alla temperatura dell’acqua, e dal ricircolo d’acqua , ma più o meno grazie anticipatamente
