Exploring different environmental contexts with ROW installation. Several locations were filmed interacting with the installation. We have processed surrounding field recordings through the ROW algorithms and the forest began to speak.

A row is a basic way to structure data, from mathematics to twelve notes of the chromatic scale in music. The rows of data floating in the air every second being converted into messages and voices. Bits of information become symbols that can be combined in words, words add up to sentences and sentences translate our ideas and thoughts. It's about the perception of information, language, and dialogue.
Row is a modular and scalable array of led fan screens that can form various length line of any desired shape. Translating raw visuals driven by generative sound, the content itself is being echoed with a slight delay which creates the holographic effect of various moving patterns that highlight and reflect the spatial characteristics of space where it is installed.
