I have been subscribed to Tunecore for 4 months now and so far all my releases have made it to public, no issues at all, customer support replies considerably fine (2-3 days) and they always managed to help me with all my concerns, though them taking quite a while to get back OAC requests is a little annoying but other than that, I don't think I'd ever be switching in the near future.

Here's my testimony, I currently subscribing to Tunecore since last year. I subscribing the Raising Artist Plan. So far I've never encountered a problem like the one you mentioned in the video. Sometimes they send me emails regarding my releases that cannot be finalized due to non-compliance with release terms and policies such as song titles, explicit music categories, release dates and so on. One thing is certain, they're never said anything about rejecting my releases. Also, they still pay me and giving me the sales report on each music platform and it's pretty reasonable. Personally in my opinion, Tunecore has provided me a proper service, but unfortunately until this day the requests for KZbin OAC service still not available again and i don't know why. I hope they can fix it soon and show their willingness to pay attention to their customer complaints. That's all from me

@@d.e.m.p.s.e.y I did get a full refund (after asking, and it actually says that they don't give refunds but if you ask they will), but my music never got uploaded. I've now switched to a new, free distributor (Unchained Music)

I just renewed with Tunecore so I have been with them just over a year. Haven't had any instrumentals or songs rejected and I have approaching upwards of 70 or 80 submissions. There's definitely something wrong with the submission if you're getting rejected. If you submitted 8 songs and all were rejected, maybe there's something not right in the submission. One thing that will get it rejected is putting any words other than the actual title of the song on the artwork. Or imagery they deem inappropriate as cover art, or that violates copyright in some way.

I assure you, absolutely nothing was wrong with the submission. I scoured and combed through the rules diligently before uploading multiple times. The songs were also accepted by other distros. Also if that were the case, they would tell me what was wrong with the release (they wouldn't, and they also wouldn't even let me appeal). Not to mention, I'm definitely NOT the only one with this issue. Look at the other comments; many other people have had this issue as well. Like my theory posited, they have to properly serve some users in order to gain a somewhat okay reputation before cutting costs by scamming others.

I'm with Distrokid and so far, amazing service with zero issues. The service is as advertised. The only experience I have with TuneCore is a track that they Copyright claimed. The track has a Splice vocal and is 100% mine in every way. I disputed of course, but no action on their behalf after 2 weeks. I expect it to sit for the max 30days before it clears. I'm so happy I decided on Distrokid and NOT TuneCore!

@@belhassenkadim you can add your tracks to ContentID but they are very clear that it's 100% original sounds etc... they find your tracks if they are used and take a portion of the recovered revenue they collect. As far as support goes, I've not have the need to contact them for help yet. I've only been producing music for 8 months now so I'm still pretty new with their service but so far, very very happy! Hope that helps :)

So, you can't actually cancel it unfortunately (or at least not soon, you have to wait until a month before the renewal date). You can, however, report this problem to TuneCore and ask for a refund. They say non-refundable but they've actually been refunding most people who ask, so it's worth a shot.

Yes, and they did give it to me, actually. However, it states on their website that they don't allow refunds and you have to specifically ask for one. This basically means they *can* give out refunds, they just don't want people knowing they can.

@@AnimAHipHopTV I really don't understand how y'all see soooo many people complaining about an issue and go "oh, well it hasn't happened to me so there's no way there's an issue!! The music must be A.I. generated or something!" Look in these comments alone. So many people have had this issue. Not to mention A.I. music isn't even far enough in development to be cohesive at all. The most advanced A.I. music generation software, MusicLM, still isn't even close to good. I've actually covered it on my channel on a short, and while it's cool, it's nowhere near close enough to be passed off as real songs. But no, go ahead and defend a company worth millions of dollars that has very substantial evidence of scamming people.

I upload on youtube songs made entirely by me with me singing and I'm getting copyright claim to every single one of the uploads. I dispute the claim but nobody answers. Good thing the claim will go out after 28 days or something. So, there's more scam then it seems.
