Hi John, I know I'm coming into this thread late into the game but I just looked into the Renntech Stage II Upgrade for my 2017 S550. I can speak for NH and Mass. No, this will not pass state inspection in NH. It won't pass state emmissions in Mass. More importantly, even if you register your car in a different state thus, you're not subjected to these inspection requirements, the backfiring (5:21 mark) violates most local noise ordinances and could get you stopped and potentially summonsed. So it remains that at least here in the northeast, you rarely see any vehicles on the with such performance enhancements because of local noise restrictions. Stay Safe and Stay Strong, Boston

That exhaust crackle tune on the S550 is excessive. I have it on my S550 but only pops a little over 2000 RPM on the decel or if I manually downshift. If I drive it normally you wouldn't know it has a crackly tune. The red convertible E30 looks great on those wheels and the coilovers.

The popping makes high end cars sound cheap. Body is not bad for the S550, but put the value of costs into a S63 and it would smoke a S550.
