I was just crying out to the Lord as I walk through a very prolonged trying season. Your video appeared. I heard. I realized, as I watched and listened, an ability to grieve over this land, world, especially with a God-induced burden IS Christ-like, in my opinion and experience. May our hearts reflect Christ Jesus as we look around at the vast amount of sheep that are wandering WITHOUT a Shepherd. Yes, obey the Lord. Yes, experience joy. However, may we not shrug off a God-given heaviness simply because the more common version of Christianity is to be happy while worshiping the Lord for all he has given us, will do for us, and what he has promised us. If you notice, THAT version of Christianity fails to exonerate The Trinity as being Sovereign; instead, it reflects a position of spoiled brats demanding their Heavenly “Father” and the Sacrificed Lamb, “Jesus Christ our Redeeming Lord” obey the dictates of his “servants.” Sorry. That message just does not apply to accepting Christ as Lord, in my opinion.
