The essence of the song The day has risen after setting Batswana lets move forward to reach where we are going Batswana understand yourselves The chiefs and the parliament understand yourselves We have received independence lets continue with the dependence. Communicate with Batswana through the radio and tell them the day has risen Song encourages patriotism and self development. ❤❤❤❤❤

I never get tired of watching the makhirikhiri dancers.. I don't understand the Twana Language, but their music and style of dancing can easily tell that Botwana is a peaceful and friendly country. It is interesting to see how the Twana people can love and cherish their culture. Let us all love and keep our good African culture in the same way as the Twana people. This way we can preserve our African identity and respect for the good of our present and future generations. Big up Makhirikhiri dancers!
