when tuning the filter for a given frequency, especially if connected to a duplexer, you want to tune it for best s11. If only tuned for s21, there can be a significant mismatch on the receiver port of the duplexer and "detune" the duplexer. You should see no degradation of SINAD with the transmitter on vs. off if everything is working right. In amateur service, and if the site supports it, the quantar will benefit from a GASFET pre amp. I have seen improvement of over 6 dB from -119 to -125 through the duplexer with this.
