Yeah I guess I should have clarified. I am on the 92 octane "street" tune. They sent over a couple others, but honestly this is more less perfect for my style of driving.

Congrats on the new truck! The Gen 1 just has the off road mode, that changes things like throttle input and shift points, also some other things also like air bad deployment sensitivity I think. The truck is very capable!! My Raptor is still my overall favorite vehicle I own.

the 6r80 shifting to highest gear is very annoying, its worse for those of us with the work truck 4.6 3v regular F150s. It up shifts way to much and then has to double downshift when you want to accelerate. Glad to hear 5 star takes care of that issue. I was looking at their tuning since TFL channel also endorses the hell out of them.

LOVE My new to me 2013 with only 89K miles on it. It has AFE intake. stock headers and exhaust. I could only imagine intake with headers too. Great looking truck. I have the Silver ADD front bumper with wench and LEDS. love the look with that year. previous owner had DiabloSPORT trinity i1000 tuner that is no longer supported. i am desperate to get out of the stock tune that i think is in the truck. the 6th gear by 40 is killing me. wont work with what ever tune was in it. I think the dealer I bought it from flashed to stock tune. how does a guy know how to fill out ECU Strategy/PCM code if we go to order from 5 star? If we select send later does the tuner Identity what strategy is in the truck? Does this tuner only change PCM. does TCM change?

Truck accelerates smooth! Plus if you wanted something specific I am sure they can adjust it to your liking. I’ve never tried a pedal commander.

My local Ford dealer at the time did a long block replacement. I think the bill was around 10K but luckily I got it covered under an extended warranty.

My 2012 Raptor has no problem off the line. I would prefer a top speed of 200 + km/ hr, for sure. I go Offroad more than pavement in my truck. Have fun, go Offroad

If I recall it was around 90k. For the most part these engines are pretty bullet proof. If it was well maintained I wouldn’t worry to much.

Looking for advice. I have the Fist Generation F150 SuperCab 6.2 Liter Raptor. Looking to change my exhaust out from a dual passenger side exhaust to the classic Dual Split Rear Exhaust system. Anyone recommend a system that will fit my size vehicle. A guy I’m working with is telling me that I’ll need to remove my spare tire underneath. I seen several videos that show the Super Crew version using the Dual Split exhaust and wonder why that piping would also not work. Thanks in advance…

Sorry I don’t have any experience. The Gen 2 and 3 raptors have dual exhaust and a spare tire so obviously it can be done.

Your Raptor looks great. I have a 2011 and have been considering tuning it. I agree with those factory shift points. Side question, do you go through any roll thru car washes and if so any issues going through them with the a-pillar lights you have up front?

I had no issue with the A-pillar lights. They are the Baja Designs LP6 which I am sure are rated for much more torture than a car wash. I do however, find that with the width of the Raptor sometimes the car wash leaves a slim dirt strip down the center of the truck. LOL

Thanks for stopping by the channel!! I actually had a local metal fabricator do the bumpers! By going through a local guy I was able to get exactly what I wanted and it was cheaper than a lot of the name brand bumpers.
