It only really went away originally because it wasn't really a viable option to run actual neon tubes under your car, you'd have to go to a specialist to get em installed which cost a lot on top of the cost of the tubes and electornics and then you would have to replace tubes when they inevitably cracked or leaked and were a large power drain, since the introduction of super cheap LED strips anybody who knows how to plug something in and use zip ties can install underglow and draw little to no power. That's why the comeback

All the conversations between the tunes and pulls are just pure pure pure pure gold for the whole world. All those little chats have soooo much content and education. I'm not even to Hondas, not even to tune, but always some friend that's tunning cars on dynos or on the street talks to me about something i could relate and understand because i do remember all this videos. Thanks for sharing, beyond this is your job/hobbie, is just pure gold for us.

I'm sure the carbon fastback style roof extension serves an aerodynamic purpose... but I definitely don't like the looks of it.. the s2000 shouldn't look like a hatchback

needs a better breather setup the dipstick was floating! Just got my ap2 back from the dyno with this kit but the cogged belt setup and id1300s, it did 420 whp runs amazing on a haltech pnp.

I definitely agree!! The hardtop makes the S2K look so much better in my opinion!! If I ever had one I would definitely want a hardtop. I don’t care about a convertible. I’m not a convertible guy anyways

I like the hard top, but the extension is ugly... It's an s2000 but that roof makes it look like a hatchback, it's not cool. Though I assume it does serve a purpose for aero

That set up may very well be slipping a little, if you watch the under hood video on the last run the belt shape is distorting a bit.

They fling out after a turn and distort like that even on a cogged belt like from a big top fuel hemi. That said, prob is slipping. I'm guessing the old drive was what was breaking vtec solenoids by the way Brent said it

Is there a need for a blow off valve on something like this? Does this have one? Didn’t sound like it did. You could here a lot of the air blowing back up into the charger when shutting down. Is that normal on this type of charger? Sounded wicked though. Love those hatch style roof/rear windows.

Stock kit has a recirculating diverter valve, being belt driven if you aren't in boost it would constantly be venting to atmosphere and get annoying real quick... could run something like a turbosmart 2 stage recirculating/atmosphere setup I guess if you wanted.

That's the nature of a centrifugal supercharger. Builds boost as rpms rise so you don't reach max boost pressure until redline. The superchargers that provide more instant response you're thinking of are the "roots" type superchargers.

what fuel was the dynoed s2k on? If that is pump those are very good numbers for only 9lbs, if it was on E than its still decent numbers.
