Thank you! I was new to entrelac and loved how quickly and elegantly it worked up, but it seemed to be “the project that can never end” because of no discernible way to finish! Now, I can finally stop using a half-finished blanket and finish it as beautifully as it began! BTW, between you and Jonah’s Hands, my 5 year old grandson plans to begin crocheting, and has already made his first chain (with my help)! Thanks for being such a positive male role model for creative boys!

I've made three Entrelac blankets and I'm so pleased with the pattern and the border is perfect. I'm going to try larger squares and wondering if the border will work the same with 10 or 12 stitch squares? Hope you're still reading this as I know this is an old video.

I have made a entrelac blanket, but I have done mine slightly different. I only have 2 sides that aren't straight edged. I am looking for a entrelac border that will straighten the 2 opposite sides and that I can also do along the 2 straight sides. I don't know if I am making sense.

So how do you do the quarter triangles at the corners?!
@dbdempsey989 жыл бұрын
I watched your live tutorial on Facebook and had to come over to see how to do the border to finish up. I noticed that when you were working on the last triangle you made (at ~8:33), you did a yarn over before grabbing the vertical bar giving you an extra stitch for that row. Didn't know if you wanted to know that ;)

I'm not sure what you mean. Just try your idea and see how it goes. I won't know unless I do the research and development to know for sure.

Love your videos, I have started my first project of entrelac and a very ambitious one at that, making a king size blanket..... My dilemma is: although i've learnt to make the borders and they look amazing but i'm still left with the corners where its not a "L" its half a triangle. I'm wondering how to finish this right without making it weird.

I love how you called out the entire crochet community like that. "I'm not sure if its a phobia, or what..." imagine being legit terrified of crochet with curled edges

Hi Mikey ❤ As I'm watching the master at work I was wondering when you came to the corner where you just sc along,in that where i should I put 2 sc for turning and definition or do you think it'll be too much??
@TheCrochetCrowd6 жыл бұрын
That sounds like a safe assumption. Try it. You will know if it sits flat or not.
