I like to pick up my first row of loops in the back bump. That gives you a lovely lower edge. In case you want to put a boarder or tassels or fringe at the bottom and top.

Always go a hook size bigger then the yarn recommends For example if you are supposed to use a 5 mm on the yarn label use a 6 mm one size bigger is the best

The correct name for this stitch is the arrowhead stitch.

This is definitely different from other arrowhead videos because it’s a one row repeat and the others I’ve watched have a 2 row repeat. Both are pretty though.
