So clear and thanks for talking about the simple things newbies might not know. One is how to recognize where to put your next purl. I have crocheted for 50 years but not Tunisian. It's important to know how to fix mistakes and what stitches should look like.

Thank you. Finally instructions I can understand. I tried with written instructions and just could not figure it out. Also being a left handed person, I find being able to see what to do I can translate that to the opposite hands, but written just confuses me. Thanks again!

You could work a lot more stitches onto the hook at one time if you use a cable hook with a nice flexible cable. It’s called Tunisian Magic Loop in the round.

This is an amazing technique! I'm struggling with knitting in round when using double pointed needles! Thank you for your helpful sharing! However I still wonder if this technique could use to make the smaller details such as finger (for gloves). More specific like how can I start from the top of the finger. What if I start with 8 chains from the beginning, does this technique still easy to apply into any project that need a thin cylinder shape?

I finally found one on online in the philippines (i got a promo with no shipping fee - live down south); it is 4.25 us dollars. Where i live no one knows tunisian crochet but i got my first hook from my deceased mother-in-law without knowing it was tunisian hook! It is older than me by the way. Fell in love with tunisian crochet. To do same color only, need 2 balls of same yarn. Then what about adding another color way later on? Same technique as flat tunisian crochet?

I am so excited to try this method! My question is have you done this with socks? I’ve tried to knit socks and knitting is not my forte! And regular crochet socks are just so bulky, this looks like it may be a good alternative
@HappyBerryCrochet2 жыл бұрын
I haven't but I agree, I think this method would be good for socks. When I get my hooks back (I moved abroad) I'll see if I can design some!

Is it possible to use this same method of constantly adding a few loops & removing them - AND get this same knit look - BUT on a flat washcloth or even a blanket (uwing no cable, something larger then a 6" double ended hook)?

I just bought one of these Clovers over the weekend in a size J. In stores they don’t have but like 4 sizes. They work nicely. Was $10.99 and I had a 60% off coupon. Well worth the money. Looking for some Denise, Knit Picks, or a nice Tunisian hook set. I’m so confused on what is best to buy?

Is there a way to do this with just a straight Tunisian hook?
@rafachachon8508 Жыл бұрын
Wow this crochet- Tunisian stitch is very similar to jersey knitted looks, like knitting, and not true' because on crochet, that's why the Tunisian crochet is long straight ,as simple wire we make classically crochet chain chain later Two are downloaded 🎥, through two stitches, they form🔥💥 across ❤ 💋.

I’ve found some similar cheaper hooks by Susan bates on Amazon. I saw the clover one but they were a little more pricey so once I’m ready to make my purchase I’ll decide between the brands lol

So is this supposed to be like a spiral? When I go around it just spirals and theres no real "end" to each round.... am I doing it right?

This was my question too we just keep going in a spiral but what if you need a clear definition from one row to the next?

what if you have changeable tunisian hooks? could it be done all the way round since its bendable ? can you make a tutorial on that? maybe do it in a full stitch?
@MeritxellFarre3 жыл бұрын
If you have two interchangeable hooks of the same size I guess you could do it by placing one on each end of the cable.
