@CraigMeadows-nc7ob I blew that today mate, I knew of a 70lb before I left (peg 6 who had 10lb in 10mins at the start) but not sure of the winner. Need more time in the bank and I’m determined to get it in 2025.

Try scaling down on your hook length diameters Graham, I’m sure that will improve your bites, 0.13mm is too heavy for winter f1s. You won’t be broke on 0.10 or even 0.09 with a nice soft elastic.

Hi Graham, personally for me anyway, I always find at tunnel in winter that the lighter the hook length and hook that I can get away with rewards me with more fish in the net. I’m absolutely sure that even if you only scale down from 0.13mm to 0.11mm, you will get more confident bites. Probably won’t make as much difference if you’re sat on a peg with a lot of fish but definitely makes a big difference when you’re not.
