THE TUNNEL - A Cosy SMALL CAVE Base design. This base has 4X bunkers, 2 being entrance bunkers, with 2 unique wall stacked roof bunkers which are connected to 1 TC. It has a spacious core living space as well as bedroom areas to defend the base from using peeks throughout. This base has a very low upkeep for the insane cost to raid of at least 95+ rockets.
Electricity can be connected from the surface with this cave type, feel free to play around with electricity connections - I opted not to include it for video simplicity.

You can also add industrial piping with an "exploit" - it's really just placing 2 conveyors inside terrain... but still, it's nice, both electricity and industrial has to be sent into the right side bunker then to the left side bunker (the one you built this in) might make a vid on it, and a design for the right side cave just cuz why not, it'd be helpful for myself and my mates when I'm not there to build it for them. Also sick build, I'll either use yours or change it a bit since I want to have that piping I talked ab earlier.

Great base design, really like the bunkers and the storage bunkers. I noted the surface electrics. Recently I built a cave with no electrical surface option. Used batteries charge on the surface to provide power. Large battery fully charged can power 7 turrets for 3 days using AND switches and timers and HBHF sensors. Maybe a little electrical tutorial would be interesting with practical circuits.

Now seeing your comment I realized that the updated electrical system two updates ago buffs cave bases. With the battery active usage behavior having been changed to only increase it when devices are on (universally rather than rely on a switch) and zero power logic devices definitely make cave bases a much more viable option.

Can you get electricity down there? Without just placing batteries and charging them.. If so I can, with an 'exploit' get piping down there too, either way you can use another several 'exploits' to get down the bucket side, even if there's a turret, haven't completely tested it though and I should honestly, I know for a fact luckylamma drop down works without a turret atleast. With the small hard /spike cave you can get both electricity and piping from surface down to the right side of the cave, and you can reuse the exploit to get piping past the bunkers in the left side cave, just barely in range..

What do you think about the small easy Cave (the one with the bucket) I think it’s the best cave, as you can get down into the cave very quickly. Personally I like to Seal in the cave side of the base with a lot of hqm and then implement 2 Bunkers on the bucket side. I mean you always have to die to get your stuff, or someone calls the bucket. But it’s not a problem to heal 40 hp with a Bearrug. I also build a 2nd small base on the cave entrance with a bolty turret, some peaks, roof for a mini as well as Electric furnaces. Also you never struggle with getting farm. As you just spawn in your base with a db and jackhammer and farm the whole cave and then smelting it in your 2nd base. Another thing I like to do is to place drones in your cave so you can always see if you’re being camped but all in all I had no major problems with doorcampers, I just made sure that I always had a db in my 2nd base to surprise them from behind. I like caves a lot! It makes you basically unraidable (70 Rockets from cave side) and (50 Rockets from Bucket side, if they offline raid you and you always have farm and kill people farming in your cave.

Hmm, I haven't tried getting electricity down into that cave, and if you can get electricity you can use an 'exploit' to get industrial piping from the surface to it with this small hard (spike) cave as shown in the vid, can use the same exploit to send loot from the right side cave (video poster built in left side, the more common side) and send it to the left side cave practically bypassing the bunkers etc.. just 1 corner of the cave to ther other.. cancerous btw and must practice it on builders sanctuary, I might make a vid on it.

Forgot to add, thanks for the drone idea, and another reason I don't like even the single bucket cave one cuz they're exploitable ignoring the possibility of using the bucket after killing you, there's been exploits like luckylamma drop down survive lineup thing (look it up its on yt) and I've seen one where a team mate sets max fps to like 1 and drops down, you can sit on his head, he will die but you will survive (can't confirm if this still works) I have however tested the luckylamma survive dropdown lineup thing and it seems to work sometimes, even if not, you can stand up I think, it gives me a % chance to do it and if I'm not schizo I have stood up but I tested this a few weeks ago so idk. You should test this stuff on builder's sanctuary main (not beta) they have free cave building / testing (unlike rustiaced iirc grrr) just place marker on it and it'll tp you, up to you to figure out which is which I can typing more lol.

@@Azd1r.3358. that 1 fps thing is no longer working but yeah there are always ways to get down into the bucket, but you can prevent this by placing a turret down there. If raiders fire a rocket through a small gap in to a self-sealing bunker, won't the inside walls take splash damage? I remember that when I tested it on a build server in the past, it was possible as long as I adjusted the angle properly.
@IndominusRust
@IndominusRust 23 күн бұрын
Potentially but it would do significantly less than a direct hit. Also would require them to actually risk trying it with a real rocket without confirmation of hitting the back walls. So idk how likely it would be for someone to actually do it in a live server situation

I think this base is possible for a dedicated solo, you have free farm within the cave too. So you can just upgrade the roof bunkers to metal only, and then add stone wall honeycomb instead of metal.
