Hate to be the killjoy here. The original by Shamoon Ismail, and this cover, have their perks. The original: It sounds like a completely different dialect. There're tinges of Potohari/Lahori/Pindiwal. And for that reason it feels - to me - more rustic. It reflects the video, and the vibes he's going for: wild country, and free spirited. Shamoon tends to reflect those aspects in his other videos too (and they're good stuff. Tuntuna was a decent start, to an otherwise VERY eclectic playlist). The cover (your version): is cleaner. Which works for those who want to know what the actual lyrics are (I've heard the original numerous times, and now with this cover I actually know what the lyrics mean). And for what it is worth, this is a distilled, sincere version of that free spirit. In brewery terms: Shamoon is like Tullamore Dew (which is a respectable, and notable, Irish Whiskey); yours is like a black label Johny Walker. EDIT: He's Islamabad based. Its definitely a more Potohari dialect of Punjabi.
