When I was a teenager I loved this song because of the beat and the message. But now that I’m an adult and I’m moved out of my moms it hits me completely different, I honestly can’t hear this song without tearing up now. My mom was physically disabled and divorced from my dad cause he had a lot of issues, for a while it was just me and my mom and we were dead broke but she’d always do anything in her power to make sure I got what I needed and she spoiled me a lot too when she could, I don’t think I’ll ever find a woman as sweet as her. I lost my mom to cancer February 28th 2019. She was my best friend my rock. The only parent I had who loved me no matter what. I know she is still with me and my kids. I regret not getting a video or recording of her before she died. I really miss hear her voice. All I can say is do whatever you have to do so you have no regrets when she goes.
