I hate to dispute but Pac even said himself he liked to record multiple songs in a session over simple drum patterns, then let the producers handle the instrumentation afterwards..so he didn't really ever beat select towards the end of his career. He felt that his time was limited at that point, so he wanted to just record as much as he could and not worry about all the extra production.
