Kiss Braiding Gel holds much better than Shine and Jam. I did my crochet box braids the other day, and my parts are still clear and clean. I sprayed my scalp with Texture ID Soothing Scalp Mist (purchased from Sally Beauty store), and the gel held didn't dissolve like other gels. The only con is that it makes the hair look dry so I just sprayed it with some mist and boom 💥. Good to go. The mist is also a refresher/deodorizer. If your crochets smell weird but you don't have the time to soak them in ACV water then, spray it with that mist and it will have your hair smelling so fresh and good.
