You asked him some very good questions and I actually learned a few things from this video like that all Radial Aircraft Engines are in fact all odd-numbered cylinder configurations, and also about the unique prop design being at a slightly different degree like that actually creates less turbulence, less drag, and increases thrust! The Soviets/Russians explored the "ground effect" vehicles more than anyone. They made giant seagoing surface skimming jet battleship/airplanes that would fly at jet speed about 10 to 50 above the water. Crazy stuff, this is sort of a baby brother of that monster. I guess it would do about 70mph over the snow because it basically skimmed over the top after 50mph.

Ground-effect craft, of the ram-wing type. They use forward airspeed to compress air under the short with, and can fly barely not touching the water. See the '70s Russian Ekranoplan (3 made, 2 in museums today. See also starting in Germany now in Singapore with the Lippisch ram-wing, which can also be made to fly. See Lippisch /Collins x-114 And modern day the Airfish-8, which can't fly more than little hops.
