This is an example of those singers who sing a lot of vibrato so they can make their singing more expressive.. But here, I can only listen to vibrato and vibrato (nice acting, btw) and not a really sad-tone Liù. Listening to this was like to listen Villazón... But much worse with a soprano whose timbre is nothing form another world. I feel there is lacking an inner secret ingredient. Puccini's 'down-thodden' heroines all need the secret ingredient - and Liù is clearly an opressed!
