A question if you would please. I rebuilt my th350.(not my first) It won't shift out of first gear. Just inspected the governor its good. Might I have a stuck spool valve. Going out now to inspect the modulator valve.Any advise would be appreciated.

@@dragsterstransmissions Again thank you. It's 4x4 so kind of hard to get to the modulator valve. Come to find out I never ran vacuum to it. Yes I am an idiot.🥴🤣

I just rebuilt my Th400 with a transco shift kit. It shifts way to late, 1-2 at 30 mph and 2-3 at 50mph. Are the "A" springs setup firmer or softer springs vs the "H" black spring?

@@dragsterstransmissions Transgo shift kit SK 400- $31 on EBay. I went back and read the directions again and I left out the pink spring on the the modulator and I didn't change the springs in the governor to the green ones provided with the kit which states to do for earlier shifts. I already put the pink spring in and it's getting better. I plan on changing out the gov. springs soon. I need to read directions more carefully. Thank you for responding and so quickly!

I have a 78 k 10 that sat long time in S.C. bought on facebook.last year,seller changed filter fluid and new torque converter I'm replacing floors etc now when I took for drive only stays in one gear,not sure which,and reverse works,thm350,please do a video if you have time ,explaining modulator function and defects to diagnose for us newbies,I'm only building for pleasure driving.governor also what defects causeations.

I have a 95 Chevy c1500 with a swapped th350 trans and I can’t seem to figure out how to bolt the shift cable bracket or where to bolt it. The part is Genuine GM 15995247 and I don’t think it’s the right one cause the previous owner rigged it on but anything will help. Thanks

@kolbycampbell1117 The cable bracket or pan bracket is bolted on driver side must remove 2 pan bolts to mount. I think that is what your asking me
