@@billallen4793 I think if you ever get a chance to ride an Alpha you should. I think they are pretty nimble off trail, nice and narrow too. It feels totally different then like a new Summit Expert. I had some issues with mine, but I do like it very much. I'm not the best Mountain rider but I have a blast. I spent 7 weeks in West Yellowstone this year again.

@@gumballer133 any sidehill washout when riding on spring snow? And I would love to ride an alpha! Hell I'd love to ride any newish sled... I became disabled in September 2003 from a work injury and am losing the feeling in my legs and the ability to walk very far or stand for very long. I've got 4.5 sled's in my side yard that I can't even do the maintenance required on them. I was a pretty good wrench, and now I can't stand long enough to change a spark plug on my truck.. riding in West Yellowstone is nice, did you have good snow this year? I like riding in the snowies and medicine bow area's are generally great sledding....from Wyoming USA 🔫🤠🇺🇸p.s stay safe

I like the truck set up easy and simple. That’s like a 5000 set up perfect maybe a little more. But most people 45000$ set up just in truck and trailer or sled deck. I like yours don’t matter how u get to the mountain.

Really considering getting back into the sport. Last time I owned a sled and rode was in 2005 and I bought a brand new M6. It was a beast for a 600 and was a perfect sled for my first sled. I’ve found a bunch 2014 m800s in my area for sale for what I’d consider a good deal. My son is 9 and he loves dirt bikes and 4 wheelers in the summertime. I’m just not sure what sled to get as I’ve been out of the game for like 15 years now.

Drop the skid and leave the spindles, stay centered on the sled and use the brake a lot. Wrong foot forward will screw you unless your mobbing really slow. Grippers help.
