I once saw a twin turbo Fox run a 7 second quarter mile, and I can only estimate at the actual time, because he had a comp the next morning and they weren't putting the times on the boards. It was insane, with the exception of one monster '69 GTO that had a block the size of a building in it, and did post the time of 6.65 on the board, the only thing I've seen faster than that Mustang are top fuel and jets.

The fox body is way lighter. Needs less horsepower to be faster as long as it hooks up! My buddy has a single turbo 25th anniversary big block Fox body. It makes 1,400 hp. He has it tuned down to 700 hp because the streets can't handle 1400 hp on a daily basis! Doing 75mph down the freeway and can do a burn out at will. Scary AF!!!!
