It's not art. It's AI generated garbage which trained itself on actual art. It stole good stuff and made it ugly.

@@LeSatan I'd rather you take art without permission and credit than use AI. At least one can be traced back to its source. Nah, it is ugly. Anything that is pretty about it is copy and pasted from better looking art. The majority is unreadable detail that makes no sense. At first glance it looks alright, but the mouth looks odd, and the eye is drooping, and there is no wording on anything, the design is a confusing mess. Look at work by Moebius on Alien, look at work by Frank Frazetta, or from any actual concept artist then come back to this. "It's about time that most artists realize they don't have big value in economy." Nice disrespect to people that have literally helped build your entire childhood and adulthood through many different forms of entertainment. Just because artists aren't respected in economy doesn't mean their value is small. Get rid of all games, movies, books, comics, paintings, etc. and then come back to me telling me how little their value is in the economy. Wildly bad take.

@@SynthwavelLover I can't personally see the flaws you described. Besides, art isn't supposed to be realistically perfect, right? Yeah, I didn't mean to disrespect all artists, some are amazing and I'm sure AI can't do the same as them. But the majority aren't the people who design the great movies, games, etc. I think there needed to be a wake up call for many that other fields are more future-proof.

@@LeSatan The wakeup call is artists should legally have more rights. Musicians have copyright protections in place for AI. Artists deserve it too. AI is trying to replace artists that is the problem. If you can't see the flaws I described this is part of the issue. People need to develop taste a little critical eye. We mindlessly consume media without giving it any thought. Without "digesting".

Well, releasing a single with 150-400€ art is pretty bad decision if you need to buy food for your family...

@@TurboKnight This is a false dichotomy (a logical fallacy; look it up). I've made a detailed post explaining why you're wrong and you're coping. You don't need to commission someone for every song you make. Here are three alternatives off the top of my head- 1) make something yourself you can even use photos you've made. 2) Use cool retro scifi art made by real artists and credit the artist (which a lot of synthwave pages already do). 3) Request free art or some sort of trade "Hey I'll make a song in x style if you draw me this in x style". You are CHOOSING to use AI art, you are not forced to. Stop making excuses at least own up to it. Just say "I use AI despite there being alternatives and am not bothered by the fact art is stolen for data training". P.S. If you don't have 100-400€ to spare in your account you need to reassess your life honestly. Not that it matters because there are other (free) options. You generally pay for AI program anyway so..... it's probably not the cheapest option anyway.
