This is a sweet take on burn! It's a little slower than the nuts burn draw but not giving your opp free cards and getting the most value out of every card in the deck is awesome! Always appreciate how much thought you put into the brews. Your format knowledge and understanding shine through the decks you brew.

The floor of the spell is 3 mana, do nothing for that turn. You're basically trying to squeeze 3 damage or more out of any one card, so it not dealing damage doesn't do it. You aren't trying to grind, you want to control their life total!

Maro specifically wrote that they don't use the hellbent mechanic because players don't like the feeling of being empty-handed. So, building a mechanic around a state players want to avoid is bad design.

keep seeing spike saying GOS is not a problem and I keep seeing him losing to it every single time, it's not fun to watch modern because of the ring and that stupid card😢
