That G-plus throttle body just looks like that. The o-ring seals on them though, the IAC just doesn't sit flush at the mounting flange. I've been told that the Chrysler style works better in that throttle body, just requires two wires to be swapped with by repinning at the IAC connector..

I saw how bad the wiring was and using that as a guide I would check every earth as well as checking for boost and Vacuum leaks. Come to think about it I would check every nut bolt bush and drop links, hell strip it down to the frame and work your way UP.
