So, someone asked me a long time ago if I would be able to upload this fight in a better quality, since a lot of time has passed.
I figured, "Why not?" And so I re-recorded it in 720p (for real this time, it's widescreen). Hope you enjoy!

He literally fucking killed all the other antagonists in 5 minutes. I remember being absolutely shocked when I first saw this as a kid. I even felt bad for the Koopa bros and the Axem rangers despite them being actual vllains. This scene and the entire show was incredible it really had that evil vibe to it whenever Mecha Sonic appeared.

I think it was the episode before this one or the one after but it was during the bit where Sonic was explaining his and Mecha's backstory that Mecha survived the Death Egg crashing into the planet. Sure, the Breaker Beam was powerful, but a space station exploding after it hits a planet is far more dangerous

My favorite thing to have noticed is that in the fan game Sonic Smackdown (a 2D fighter), Mecha Sonic is playable and he not only has the Raging Demon as his super art, but he also re-uses Meta Cooler's voice clips from DragonBall Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 just like in SMBZ You can tell the developers of Sonic Smackdown love them some Alvin Earthworm

Well this isn't my animation. It was done a very long time ago by an animator named "Alvin-Earthworm". The fight in question came from the series, "Super Mario Bros. Z" It's 16:9 so that it would try to be more "HD" like in quality, hence why some of the stuff looks off.
