I have a personal rule about exhaust systems. Never make your car louder than it is fast. There is a sweet spot that must be achieved in exhaust sound and vehicle performance.

I ran 30” Cadillac mufflers on my ‘68 355c.i. Camaro. 13:1 compression and a .625 lift solid roller. Total stealth - the only thing you could hear was the valvetrain. What a pleasure it was to drive that car without a loud exhaust, and it still ran like a M’fer.

Chris, it is nice to hear the Turbo Pros and you might also brag about their flow. Testing indicates they do a great job and in fact, pass a lot more air through them than a lot of the "typically-chosen" chambered mufflers. They also outflow some of the other similar mufflers. Nice job bringing these to market!

I had the OEM resonator deleted and installed an aftermarket resonator and MagnaFlow muffler on my '05 Chevy TrailBlazer and the wife doesn't like the drone noise. It's not too bad for me unless I'm going uphill at certain RPMs. I'm going to give this muffler a try.

Love the goat. I have been looking at trying some quiet high flowing mufflers on my sleeper s10 when i get it back on the road, these may do the trick.

I recently replaced my street pro mufflers with turbo style mufflers to quiet down my car a bit. I'm happy with the sound but the quality of the turbo muffler I purchased is not as high as the pypes muffler and exhaust system I have on the car. I'm looking forward to purchasing a set of these and trying them on my car.

Is the purpose of a turbo muffler to give it a straight pipe sound but much quieter?

The flow of this muffler mimics the CFM of a straight pipe with minimal drone or resonance. This is our most tame muffler designed for those who want something closer to stock. I have a set of these MVT13 behind my 5.3 LS with a Truck Norris cam. I’m noticing a loud metallic sounding rattle coming from the mufflers, seems much worse when they are cold and almost goes away when hot. No x pipe, short turndown tailpipes. Exhaust is not hitting anything

What is the flow vs the Race Pro or Violator?

Both the Race Pro and Violator mufflers are a straight through design, so their flow mimics about 95% flow of a straight pipe. The Turbo Pro muffler's flow control panels allow it to flow like a straight through design, so the flow is very similar to both the Race Pro and Violators.
