as somebody with a rear mount turbo who's played around with different pre-turbo piping sizes, I found smaller than what you would run NA and consolidated to a single pipe worked wonders.

hi, what is the ideal? pressure ratio between the intake side and the ex side? aka if I have 10 psi boost what is the max ex pressure??? 4 psi??

They were playing with cold side charge pipe length, not the hot side pipes before turbos / Y-pipe.

My theory on that was the tuebo couldn't spool because the backpressure created by the intake side kept the turbo in its stall range... id bet a different sized turbo (smaller) could have made that work.

@@yolofullsend It was crazy test for sure. Maybe bigger diameter charge pipe would have helped. But craziest part was that it had positive pressure in the intake manifold, 7 or 8 psi and it still made less power than naturally aspirated.
