777Msbaby you can use smaller beads as well for this project, if you can find a smaller star, or replace the star with white, but smaller beads is the answer. Ill see if its possible to reduce the amount of beads..

Hey, i am sorry to hear about your nephew, It's wonderful he taught you how to create with beads. Try using the straw technique as well as the toothpick technique.
