Turbocharging my 1974 KE25 Toyota Corolla - The beginning.

Welcome to my channel!
This series will follow the build of my 1974 Toyota Corolla, starting from a bit of background on when I got the car to where it is now.
I have a bunch of ideas for where I'd like to take the build, this will include a full 3D CAD model of the engine and relative components, a heap of 3D printed parts, machined parts, and plenty more.

sweet! some K series stuff! this excites me so much just cause this is also my end goal..though i'd have loved to go 4k for near square property..but we had to swap to a 5k due to cracked 4k block and sheer rarity of 4ks in Botswana...so keen to see how this goes.. i love the mockups you posted aswell!!!

Thanks mate I appreciate it. After having both a 4k and 5k, it's 5k all day for me, they are actually the ones with the almost square stroke. You might eventually consider swapping in the 4k head for solid lifters - which I may do too but see how I go!

Awesome mate, interesting to go with the k build, heaps keen to see how this goes! I have a white ke25 deluxe too, building a bigport 4age to go into it, tossing up the idea of boost vs itb's atm

Hey thanks man! Yeah I forgot to add it was in my driveway in the middle of winter hahaha. It was a terrible time 😂. Definitely keen to take it to the drag strip and a couple of track days once it's ready!

does anyone know... can a 3sge engine fit a ke25 engine bay?

I think from memory reading about it a few years ago, people who have done it usually modify the firewall. I think it "fits" but doesn't leave much room for radiator etc.
