Was just going to ask about how it dynoed🤣 looking forward to next video 👍

Fine job lad, best of luck with it 👍

Its good to adjust the tappets also keeps the engine running sweet.

Second person to have said this - might be worth looking into!

Hello, could you put a. Y fitting or a T where your return oil goes into the block. This could b an easier way to fill oil. Probably not as fast but much easier.
@limitedslipdifferences8 күн бұрын
Would take a lifetime. Spotted an offset oil filler next the other day in JNK Motor Factors. That'll do the trick.
@gerrymulligan26029 күн бұрын
O man.some load behind it fiat some tractor that clean one
@wouttiiii10 күн бұрын
Wouldnt it be better to turn around that T piece so the oil can just flow straight forward ( not a short 90° corner)
@limitedslipdifferences10 күн бұрын
originally did think that, but then you're close to the side panel and still need to put a 90 on it anyway. It's under plenty of pressure, it's getting oil no problem, but I hear what you're saying.

Get her back up for another run on the dyno
@limitedslipdifferences10 күн бұрын
Once the injector pump is sorted I would consider it
@dinfar69 күн бұрын
Oi, you need to turn the center piece so the oil drain is pointet more downwards, otherwise good job!
@limitedslipdifferences9 күн бұрын
I hear what you're saying. That's exactly how it came off an 8340 manifold tho! All I did was clock the compressor housing to suit the Fiat.
@HimWitDaHair988 күн бұрын
@limitedslipdifferences I definitely recommend clocking the core cartridge so that your oil fittings are vertical, the way it's cocked at the minute will act the maggot as if you've the wrong orifice sizes in your fittings. At least as vertical as humanly possible. Seen lads in the PDVW scene cook brand new turbos with that small mistake
@limitedslipdifferences8 күн бұрын
Yeah I did that in my Sierra to be fair and it does make sense. I would say I'll do another video following up on everything that others have suggested such as setting the tappets. Wouldn't be too hard to clock the core.

Your return why not tread it instead of welding it?
@limitedslipdifferences5 күн бұрын
So you've the m32x1.5 bung, and then the thread of whatever the barb fitting is. Take away the chance of rounding the barb and only dealing with one threaded section. But I see your point
@alanchatfield427110 күн бұрын
Do a dyno without turbo, then a dyno with the turbo on standard pump setting, and then a 3rd power run with a tweak of the pump,, I am guessing 95 pto then 110 pto then 150 pto,, and if you went mad 170 pto, don't do that, forget that
@limitedslipdifferences10 күн бұрын
I mean I could do that and put the pump back to how it originally was if I had to. I reckon she was 115 on the shaft prior to the turbo as it was a very good going tractor. Can say now it isn't 170 and it never will be.
@alanchatfield427110 күн бұрын
@limitedslipdifferences they normally do about 150 pto with a turbo and small screw in,, don't worry if it isn't 150,, even 140 is good and reliability is good
@limitedslipdifferences10 күн бұрын
I couldn't even give it a full screw, injector pump said no. It's seen about 5/8 of a turn over what was done pre turbo - but she'd been tinkered previously I'd say
@alanchatfield427110 күн бұрын
@limitedslipdifferences yea definitely I am thinking the same,, not a bad thing in some ways it won't have done it any harm. And now the turbo will clear up and black smoke and more power to boot., see if you can get an intercooler from a TM series, the top tank in and out should just fit over the top of your radiator, it will work lovely. Best wishes 👍
@limitedslipdifferences9 күн бұрын
That's the next plan to be fair. Well, injector pump done up and then the intercooler. But also on the recommendation from a few people since this video came out, I'm gonna get the tappets set too
@alanchatfield427110 күн бұрын
Just take to turbo boost pipe off from the inlet manifold and let it suck n/a and you will see standard power without turbo, then back on for 2nd run to see increase
@limitedslipdifferences10 күн бұрын
Puts serious heat into the system doing that.
@HimWitDaHair988 күн бұрын
You'll over rev the turbo shaft at that craic. Alright to limp around and get ya home but it's madness to do power pulls with the compressor blowing to atmosphere
@limitedslipdifferences8 күн бұрын
I know the TM150 got serious warm when the boost pipe blew off. Black smoke for days but no power and absolutely ridiculous heat

Holy god lad how did it take you 3 videos to show basically nothing. You done all the important bits we wanted to see off camera and got a local shop to fab basically everything and spend 3 videos just saying the same thing over and over, what a massive waste of time it was watching this “series”. This is literally no help whatsoever to anybody looking to turbo their own 110-90. Just put the whole lot into 1 video, I would say 10 minutes would cover everything if you cut out the pointless waffle.
@limitedslipdifferencesКүн бұрын
What a hateful and unnecessary comment. I done the whole thing on camera, explained what to buy, oil lines and went through what I got done stainless wise. Plenty of other ones telling me it's helpful and useful but sure there's always one.
@RobertE92Күн бұрын
@ absolutely no hate intended it’s just my opinion, show me where I said something hateful? Sure believe what ya want lad I was being brutally honest in the hopes you might see what it looks like from a viewers perspective. Again I wasn’t being nasty it was just brutal honest constructive criticism, up to yourself how you take it 👍🏻

Hey Robert it’s ok, sometimes we all get offended by things nobody forces us to look at but just can’t stop..
@limitedslipdifferences22 сағат бұрын
Sorry for misunderstanding lad but it came across as harsh, I don't mind the honesty one bit but you literally said the whole thing was pointless. I described the kit to buy, the type of turbo, bolts needed, oil lines needed. The only thing I didn't do was the stainless but you know that already. Just don't understand how you think it wouldn't be useful but I'll keep it in mind for future.

@ sorry lad I did go too far saying it was no use, I’ll delete the comment I shouldn’t have said that
