I was ready to pull the trigger on a Baileigh 33 ton press. I'm just not sold on their controller and the limited storage for recipes. How many programs can this controller hold and can it be backed up with a memory card?

Hello, Its been 2 months since you got this machine. Does it work ok? Have you had any problems. I am looking to buy a couple of machines from this guys but I would like to know if you have any feedback on the machine? Any advice you can give me I would be really appreciated.

You are a pretty good salesman Gary. Hope this venture goes well for you...

I will say, this machine is already sold! I should have had a career in sales! lol

The dies are segmented, how would you bend a box that was not the exact measurements of the segmented section. Say the box is 20 x 20 with a 1 inch flange. The segments would need to be less than 20 inches to not bend the 2 side flanges. If the segments aren't 20 could you do less like 18 and still get a good bend?
@turbocobra4 жыл бұрын
you have lots of different segment widths so you can mix/match to get the desired width, and yes, if you need to space them out with some small gaps, it wont be a problem at all.

Very nice Gary: Thanks for showing, I would like to have something like that in the future in my shop, no real need presently but hey I love tools and equipment.
@turbocobra4 жыл бұрын
oh yea, handy to have around for sure, when you get ready for one holler at me, i could bring it out to you, help you get it going and a little walk through training
@granteasterday65554 жыл бұрын
You wouldn't need to do so much correcting if you changed the material thickness to what you're actually bending. It looks like you had it set to .039" the whole time. Thanks for the demo though!
@turbocobra4 жыл бұрын
yea, if you load the right tooling geometry and material thickness, it will get you a closer starting point. As i said, I am not an experienced cnc press brake operator

How do you enter in the tooling. Also custom tool?
@turbocobra4 жыл бұрын
there is an admin screen thats password protected where you enter it. Yes there is a complete tooling catalog available. US tooling company like Wilson also has tooling that will work with it
@jamesvanhoose31324 жыл бұрын
@@turbocobra awesome. Can you show a video on entering in a new stock tool and one that is 100 percent custom.
@scottyp.6444 жыл бұрын
Can you add different tooling in the control? Can you set a bend speed? Can you set a mute point or slow down point? Thanks
@turbocobra4 жыл бұрын
Yes you can put in custom tooling, bend speed i am not sure of but i think so.

Are you selling the shop laser? I thought it was farly new for you.
@turbocobra4 жыл бұрын
Yes, its about 8-9 months old. If you have followed me long, i dont keep machines very long, lol. I had 3 plasma tables in 3 years. Nothing wrong with it, just getting a larger machine.
