Why is the ip change step required? Can't we use the ip before changing as a static ip?

my imou camera has port 37777, no matter what i do my hikvision nvr won’t find the camera, even i have done manual added , still says network unreachable

@@bulbufv no, i think is not compatible with hikvision devices ,even it supports onvif standards,i just gave up on imou camers for hikvision nvr ,dvr all together

@@duybaotran6752 new cameras dont work like that - you can enforce IP via router and dhcp static lease, but when adding to nvr it says "bad password" - IMOU "repaired" this function, as those cameras were not meant to work with dvr's from the start... old cameras (eg.Cue, ranger, C26e) work, newer (eg.C26e V2, CruiserSE) does not work
