Hi, one quick question for you or anyone else qualified to answer. As far as i know with the CL in AUTO the PEC changes the blade angle by feeding metered oil pressure through the EHV or Electro Hydraulic Valve in the Propeller Module, to the Pitch Change Mechanism, opposing the ever present supply oil pressure in the actuator, driving a servo piston connected to the shanks and thus moving the blades towards a lower pitch; conversely to increase the pitch, the PEC dumps the metered pressure allowing the supply pressure to move the piston and thus the blades towards a higher blade angle. Now where is the metered oil pressure coming from, from the HP pump on the RGB? What about the supply pressure, from the same pump or from the feathering pump? Does the PEC controls the metered pressure fed to to prop pitch change mechanism or both the supply and the metered pressure? And finally where does the metered oil pressure go once dumped?
