if the straight gate isn't affected by back pressure, whats the benefit of running CO2 for boost control? What can you do with CO2 that you can't do with standard vacuum based control, or even better electronic control?

C02 allows higher boost pressures. Since you're not limited to the reference boost level but rather the bottle.

I am sure at some point backpressure will over come the straight gate, they haven't said, 50psi+?

@@S30Build its a 50/50 butterfly valve, regardless of how much pressure there is, its equalized cause there's as much pressure pushing on it as there is pulling on it

@@MitchChubey ah yes, forgot about reference boost, was only thinking back pressure... makes sense

@boblast5582 I understand the theory, but if wastegate spring pressure is 10psi, and you run the boost solenoid to max duty cycle and your at 100psi or something...why would you need co2 unless you can't keep the butterfly shut?

hopefully the additional rear housings dont take another 12 months

When is the Eboost 3 getting released?

More open housings would have been nice

Factory controlled straight gates are going to make tuning even better! I was wondering when Turbosmart would introduce them.

And a pretty clever way to do it too, awesome product

How many people are actually buying these ?

Please make your Eboost3 instruction manual easier to read/understand than EB2....or make a lot of videos.
