Around here we have fluke and flounder. It’s pretty much the same thing with one side being white and the other brown skin. I’ve notice the side with the white skin has no taste to it at all other then whatever you cook it in. The brown side is way better IMO.

You don't have to remove the garlic cloves or hot peepers from the pan, you can put the fish right on top of them, the garlic and hot peppers are the b best part, but I keep forgetting Britts are not fond of any spices, I always heard that they like bland food.

Question. I had some cod and it had a worm in it. Noticed after cooking the fish. Is this common? Will it hurt you? Kinda threw me off of fish.

Great question mate when cooked the worms will not harm you at all , your find fish like cod , bass and pollack all have them , it’s very common

What a catch 👍. For a 1kg/2.2lb; it costs us €135/- (£115/-); that four of us shared easily …. that is an expensive fish this part of Asia, but one of the best taste! Happy to see you landing a big one to enjoy 😋

Jeeeeesus , you should have been arrested for that filleting job. , cringing for Cumbria here. One straight cut down the backbone and carefully tease the fillets off , Trim and cut into portions. The big fish would have made perfect double fillet T bones to roast on the bone. Best method by far is to cook the fish whole over a BBQ in a fish cage. Baste with water, oil and lemon juice and turn every 5 minutes....pure Flavour. That big Turbot was absolutely stunning , a beautiful fish.
