You can definitely have triple numbers with hard criteria cards. The criteria that have 'code contains 3 X's' where X is a specific number can always be eliminated though.

for the initial deduction, you could get rid of the triple because there is 1 which is bigger than the 2 others.

Game 6 was super strange. I also had triple number eliminated from D because I thought it would make B obsolete (# of 1s). Since we know it's not three 1s, if it was a triple, we'd know it was zero 1's. But it turns out it doesn't. Here's why: A card is only obsolete if we could deduce the code without the card there. But if B wasn't there, then both 333 and 111 would be valid codes. I learned that I have to be a little more careful with initial deductions. This totally blew my mind.

1:26:26 what do you mean when you say there can't be three 1s because of how the game works?

One initial deduction you missed in Game 1 was that square can't be > 4. If it was, it would be 5 and therefore the largest number, making card B obselete. This cost you an ask in round 2 :)

If I understand correctly, this doesn't make card B useless since it still would tell you that there can't be another 5 in the code.

I dont understand the initial deduction in game 4. Why cant it be ascending or descending?

It can't be ascending or descending because then Verifier C would be irrelevant. In that game, Verifier C checks which number is smallest. - If the order was ascending, the first number would always be the smallest - If the order was descending, the last number would always be the smallest So, there has to be no order to make Verifier C still useful
