The Doom & Darkness leadership bomb in the Beastman final was a masterpiece. Via Animae chased off the map like 1000s of gold worth of units. Being out-traded in value doesnt matter if you can simply escort most of their army off the map without much of a fight.

Seekers have the combat stats of Chaos Knights with lances minus the armor. I honestly think they could take a -10 to both attack, defense and charge bonus and still be good.

Game 3 and game 4 were so good, for sure a masterclasses in playing the Empire. Also been loving to see how people have adapted to the new Pit of the Everchosen! Wanted to make it more viable for shooting factions like empire so it was fun to see how you played it

Keep in mind that for some reason the Empire is the most played faction in the game by a huge margin so a mirror match is pretty much guaranteed every time.

Norska in the last match up… may need throg+ death caster to bjuna cav and spirit leech malagor. Or shadow mage with melakoth+ pit of shadows. As for the army composition, it would be impossible to beat bm at the mobility game unless he brought more ice wolves and skin wolves. Very micro dependent MU and definitely not norska favored on such large maps. Had the points being located next to each other, his build might have had a chance but a good bm would have adapted and brought archers to the fight and khorngors to win the melee inf fight. Another underutilised unit would have been the chaos dragon instead of the mammoth. He could both slow down malagor and chase him all game, his breath attacks could demolish any infantry + terror rout bm cav in cav fights .

Seekers had some changes to how their models attack and basically they shred most things esp SEs absurdly fast. I am a Slaaneshi main and I can confirm it's busted as hell 😂

Just getting into 40k and AoS a little and my newb observation is this: Warhammer 3 is an amazing seller, but you can't directly transfer from your favorite factions, units, heroes, etc into a tabletop game that matches them. Seems like a huge loss for GW. Their Old World reboot feels like too little too late and AoS is full of oddball factions and choices.

I don't think old world is too late. It's just a matter of ambition. WH3 has at least 3 more good years in it before its last patch, possibly 5 or more depending on what the future looks like.

Khornegors seem to be one of them good against all units which is depressing. Like chosen great weapons but dirt cheap and fast. Which means 2x better than them 😂
