It's hard to explain my admiration for them unconditionally because even with some problems nowadays, Turisas is there and here for the fans with an epic example of loyalty.

TWO DAYS BEFORE SHOW: Our bassist Jesper Anastasiadis gets hospitalised and we need to switch musicians last minute and without rehearsal. ONE DAY BEFORE SHOW: airberlin loses every single piece of our luggage: instruments, equipment, costumes… everything. We expect none of it to arrive before showtime today. SHOWDAY: Olli Vänskä’s morning flight is forced to turn around and return to Helsinki due to a BIRD HITTING THE TURBINE after departure. 🦆 According to the information we have right now, his new flight should land in Milan some 30 minutes before showtime. -------------------- One way or another, the band will take the stage today at 17:40. NEVER, EVER GIVE UP!! P.s. If there's someone out there coming to the show today, who could bring some black & red face paint, theatre blood, pig blood, cow blood, human blood... drop as a note. We're not picky today!
